Congratulations to Junior Achievement’s Business Hall of Fame 2023 Laureates!
On April 13th, Junior Achievement kicked off the celebration of this year’s Business Hall of Fame Laureates with a cocktail reception hosted in the lovely home of JA’s Board Chair, Mason Couvillon and his wife, Jennifer. Previous Laureates, including Adolph Bynum, Pat Denechaud, Vanessa Claiborne, Kevin Dolliole, Dennis Lauscha, Andre Rubenstein, Mike Rodrigue, Greg Rusovich, and Marian Wallis were on hand to celebrate their peers and welcome them into a prestigious community of local businessmen and women who have embraced the spirit of entrepreneurship in our community. This year’s class of honorees has made a lasting impact through their perseverance, leadership, and service to our community.
It is a pleasure to recognize the following 2023 Hall of Fame Laureates: Karen DeBlieux, Head of US Corporate Banking & New Orleans Market President, Capital One; David Gallo, CEO, Gallo Mechanical, LLC; Steve Gleason, Co-Founder, Team Gleason; Jack Jensen, Founder, Jensen Companies; Michael Smith, General Manager, Hyatt Regency New Orleans; and Dan Shapiro, CEO, Krispy Krunchy Foods, LLC. Additionally, Joseph Canizaro, Chairman & CEO, Columbus Properties, L.P./Corporate Capital, L.L.C. will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Latter & Blum will be recognized as the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust Business of the Year.
