Junior Achievement Celebrates Impact of Brees Dream Foundation at NOLA Pickle Fest

Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans proudly participated in the recent New Orleans Pickle Fest, celebrating its longstanding partnership with the Brees Dream Foundation. The festival-style pickleball tournament, organized by legendary New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, was a vibrant event that raised funds for the foundation's ongoing initiatives.

Amid the festivities, JA was on hand to represent the impact of the Brees Dream Foundation on local education and entrepreneurship. For the past 11 years, the Brees Dream Foundation has been a steadfast supporter of Junior Achievement’s Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge, contributing over $410,000 in scholarship and education funds. This generous support has benefited Challenge semi-finalists, finalists, and their schools, empowering young entrepreneurs across Gulfport, Mississippi, St. Tammany Parish, and Greater New Orleans. The program’s success has even inspired other JA area offices to adopt the Challenge, leading to a regional final that showcases student innovation.

Junior Achievement extends its heartfelt thanks to the Brees Dream Foundation for its 11 years of unwavering support. Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of business leaders. As partners, Junior Achievement and the Brees Dream Foundation are challenging young entrepreneurs to dream big and providing the skills to make those dreams come true.

Educators and schools interested in bringing the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge to their classrooms are encouraged to contact Jordan at jordan@jagno.org for more information.
