Young Innovators Prepare to Take the Big Stage
The 11th annual Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge, in partnership with the Brees Dream Foundation, is well underway, showcasing the next generation of entrepreneurial talent. In December, Junior Achievement hosted the second annual Northshore Pitch at Northshore Technical Community College. A big congratulations to our talented semifinalists for their remarkable presentations and a heartfelt thank-you to our judges, Northshore Technical Community College, StartUP Northshore, and the dedicated educators from St. Tammany Parish Schools for making the event a success.
Special recognition goes to Team Delbot from Fontainebleau High School, who secured a year of free Chick-fil-A and advanced to the Big Pitch at New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW). There, Delbot will compete for up to $15,000 in scholarships.
Meanwhile, semifinalists in Greater New Orleans are honing their entrepreneurial skills through the Idea Accelerator, an engaging series of workshops designed to prepare them for success. Participants are gaining valuable insights from local entrepreneurs, collaborating with dedicated mentors, and building essential tools like business plans, pitch decks, and commercials. Each step of the program helps these young innovators grow into confident, impactful business leaders.
