JA StartUP is spotlighting entrepreneurs of necessity—those whose talents and creativity embody the rich heritage of our city. This program will guide you through the fundamentals of business development, help you build a solid business model, and prepare you to pitch your ideas to a panel of experienced mentors dedicated to helping you succeed.

And here’s the game-changer: Our mentors will award up to $25,000 to help you grow your business—and the winning team will receive ongoing mentorship to help take their venture to the next level!

What’s In It for You?

 Three powerful workshops focused on business development, financial planning, and mapping out your “Next Step” in partnership with Thrive NOLA and other community leaders.

 A final showcase where you’ll present your business at your own booth to a panel of judges and community members.

 Judges will distribute five $1,000 chips to the businesses that impress them the most.

 Community members will also get to award $50 chips to their favorite ventures!
